"I found Impression Photography via google, after finding endless photographers in the Derbyshire area that wanted to charge more than the average cost of a wedding dress to shoot our special day. We wanted to find a photographer that was friendly, professional, experienced, creative and most of all good value. Thankfully when contacting Jon Craven he met all of these requirements.
The packages offered by Impression Photography are fantastic, we opted for the Platinum package and we were most definately not disappointed. Jon came to visit us one evening and showed us his portfolio and chatted at ease with us about how the day would go. We decided there and then that we were going to book Jon as we didn't want to miss out as we were getting married on one of the most popular Saturdays in July.
On the morning Jon came to our house whilst my three bridesmaid and I had our hair and make up done. He was very cheerful and jolly despite the fact that it was 8am! We hardly noticed he was there snapping away, which was good, he fitted in well amongst the panic. We didn't discuss with Jon what pictures we required, we put our trust in him to get the usual wedding shots, and he most definately delivered. From the dress shots, getting ready, preparing to leave, arriving, the rings, etc etc.
We were both worried that the family and friend shots after the wedding would make our guests grumble and irritable as they can go on for ages. Jon was joking with our guests and had them all feeling comfortable. They were over before we knew it, and many of our guests commented on Jon's manner and ability to keep this part of the process upbeat. There are many people that hate having their photo taken in our family (including my husband!) but they were all captured on the day!
Jon stayed well into the night taking amazing photos of our family and friends and having fun taking posed shots of myself and my bridesmaids. We love having our picture taken and Jon was very patient whilst we threw ourselves around the room enjoying every moment. Jon even took time out at the end of the night to talk to a friend of ours who is an aspiring photographer, for which she was very grateful.
I would most definately recommend Impression Photography to any friends or family getting married in the future, in fact one of my bridesmaids is getting married soon and I know she will be contacting you Jon.
Thank you for all our fantastic photos, I can't stop looking at them, and every time I do, I notice something different. Chosing the disk option was most definately the right choice for us as we can look at them whenever we like, and have made several albums already!

Chris & Jo Rudzki Indepth Review - Nottingham Cathedral
We got married at Nottingham Cathedral which is a large imposing building, that is quite dark inside. Nevertheless Jon's expertise shone through as the photos of inside the church are particularly amazing and capture all of the detail perfectly.
